A pistol used in the first film in the 'James Bond' series was sold at auction for 2,56,000 dollar. The Julian auction house sells the dormant but semi-automatic ‘Walther PP’ pistol.
The pistol was bought by a US bond fan who did not want to be named, the company said.
Its replica was used in the 1982 film Doctor Who, the first Hollywood Bond - Shawn Connor. The artist died on October 31, at the age of 90. Earlier, a Tom cruise helmet used in the top song movie sold for a record 106,000.
